The Aerpro AMDTO43 is a complete head unit upgrade kit for the Toyota Landcruiser 200 Series GX (2012–2021) fitted with factory steering wheel controls. It replaces the factory head unit with a 10" capacitive touchscreen at 1024x600 resolution via the AM1005D multimedia receiver, adding wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in DAB+ digital radio, and Bluetooth V5 while retaining factory steering wheel controls.

The kit includes the AM1005D multimedia receiver, matte black facia kit, SWC interface harness, SWC patch lead, antenna adaptor, and a 720P AHD universal rear camera. The GX is the base grade of the 200 Series and does not have factory reverse camera, amplifier, vehicle menu, or USB/AUX inputs all retention fields are N/A for this grade.

Does this suit all 200 Series Landcruiser grades?

No — the AMDTO43 is specifically for the base GX grade with factory SWC. Higher grades such as the GXL, VX, and Sahara have JBL amplified audio, factory reverse cameras, and other features that require different integration hardware. Why is the factory reverse camera listed as N/A?

The Landcruiser 200 Series GX did not come standard with a factory reverse camera. The 720P AHD universal rear camera included in this kit adds reversing visibility from scratch. Higher grades of the 200 Series that do have factory cameras require a kit with camera retention capability.

Why does the park brake need to be connected?

The AM1005D head unit includes a safety interlock requiring the park brake wire to be connected to the actual park brake. Without this connection, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will not activate — this is a design requirement of the head unit, not a fault.

Is this a 9" or 10" screen?

10" — the AMDTO43 uses the AM1005D with a 10" capacitive touchscreen, larger than the 9" AM905D units used in most other Aerpro vehicle-specific kits.

Does the Landcruiser 200 GX have a factory amplifier?

No — the GX is the base grade and does not have the JBL premium amplified audio system fitted to GXL, VX, and Sahara grades. Factory amplifier retention is therefore not applicable for this kit.
